ABOUT

I am Ruvarashe. I am from Zimbabwe and currently I reside in Brooklyn, NY. I am married to the love of my life and I am mommy to Eli.

I am a wildflower and I love to travel to places unknown. I've never met a vegetable I didn't like. I enjoy cooking, dancing in the rain, singing from the depths of my soul and the top of my lungs, and spending time with my loved ones. I am drawn to things of old, vintage clothing, antiques, photos of yesteryear, etc. Above all I am a believer in Jesus Christ.

I own and operate Seventh Row, a curated collection of vintage garments and accessories. We also carry a few handmade items made by artisans in different parts of Africa.  

I am a photographer for Fourth & Bloom. I love to tell stories of people and life through the medium of photography and film. 

I work as Deputy CEO for ZOF Africa, a volunteer based non profit organization that supports orphaned children in Zimbabwe. Working with vulnerable children has been a strong passion of mine since I was a little girl. Please head over to the site and lend a helping hand.

The Blog

Ruvarashe is pronounced Rue-Vah-Rah-Shé and means God's flower in my native tongue. Ruvarashe is a lifestyle blog created with intent of inspiring and sharing knowledge. All things life!!! Let's Blossom!!!
